The Farmhouse is the second of the original farmhouses built on the site around
1900. It has been converted into a dual - purpose hostel and training centre. From
July through to September, the Farmhouse is used as a hostel when it provides accommodation
for 24 in bunk beds in 3 bedrooms. In addition, there is a large common room/dining
room downstairs and a fully-fitted kitchen with cooker, deep freeze and fridge.
There is an adjoining scullery for food preparation and washing up. There is a range
of modern flush toilets and a shower unit which is built to disabled use standard.
There is electric heating throughout the building.

For the remainder of the year it is used primarily as the County Training Centre
with the bedrooms being used as seminar rooms and the common room as a plenary room.
It can also be used as accommodation for up to 16 people sleeping on carrymats or
mattresses on the floor. It is available to groups and organisations for meetings
or week/weekend use when not in use by the Training Team. It can be used in conjunction
with camping in the Farmhouse garden or elsewhere on the site.
