- Wareham Forest
with miles of marked tracks and a stunning Iron Age Fort, is easily accessible from
Buddens on foot or on bicycle. Sika Trail - a 7 mile marked cycle trail. Ideal for
hikes, basic navigation exercises and for DoE expeditions.
- Swanage Railway
For an outing with a difference try The Swanage Railway. The restored steam railway
operates regular services to and from Corfe Castle and Swanage. Some groups have
combined a hike from Corfe to Swanage and returned by train - or vice versa. Park
& ride facilities at both ends.

the Purbeck Cycleway has 6 waymarked cycle routes around the area varying from 12

hike and cycling routes in the locality, approved campsites for overnight stays
etc.

for outside activity
