Buddens is already used by a number of local schools, both local authority and private, for day visits and activities and for longer visits. A learning pack is available based on the resources in the Conservation Area targeted at up to Key Stage 3 level as well as trail leaflets and activity sheets. The on-site activities are available subject to your own risk assessments.

Buddens is used regularly by Cadet units from all three Services for camping, bivouacing and using the range of on-site activities. The Centre is ideally located for Duke of Edinburgh Award of Edinburgh Award training or expeditions in the locality.
Buddens is also available to organisations dealing with disadvantaged youngsters and is used regularly by organisations such as Fairbridge, Equilibrium, Re-run and the local National Probation Service for remedial, reparation and respite projects. Please discuss your requirements with the Centre Manager.
